The Mission of STEM FLEX is to connect students with accessible, personalized STEM opportunities, while also providing STEM educators with access to high-quality, relevant professional development.

Built with rural students in mind, our platform matches the expressed interests and needs of students with in-person and virtual STEM events, camps, clubs, and competitions. STEM FLEX guides students toward careers in high-demand, high-wage fields such as IT, healthcare, construction, and advanced manufacturing. Users can explore the platform as guests or create a profile to create a personalized experience.

STEM FLEX was developed with federal funds (Award Number S411B200035) awarded to the Niswonger Foundation in 2020. The mission of the Niswonger Foundation is to create opportunities for individual and community growth through education and other sustainable projects.
